Shots by Shawn Photography Wedding Giveaway – Official Rules
We’re giving two engaged couples a full 8-hour wedding photography experience—completely free. Here’s everything you need to know before entering:
Eligibility & Requirements
- Wedding Planner Required
Couples must have a professional wedding planner or day-of coordinator.
Why? Because things go smoother when there’s a trusted expert making sure everything runs on time, so you can relax and we can focus on capturing beautiful, uninterrupted moments. We’re here to document the memories—not manage the timeline.
- Wedding Must Take Place in 2025
Coverage is valid for any available wedding date between May 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025. - Wedding Must Be Within 50 Miles of Houston, TX
Travel outside this range may be considered with an added travel fee. - Social Media Engagement
Winner must be following @shots_byshawn and @amoraweddingsnfilms on Instagram.
We’d love for you to tag us and share your journey—we’ll be featuring you on our social media and website. - Standard Wedding Contract & Model Release Required
A signed contract and model release will be required to confirm your booking. This protects both parties and allows us to share your wedding story across our platforms. - Photography-Only Coverage
This giveaway includes up to 8 hours of wedding day photography.
- Videography is not included in the giveaway.
- If you’d like to add videography, we ask that you book directly through our team (Amora Weddings & Films) to ensure a seamless, collaborative experience. We work best when our photo + video team is fully aligned.
- No Outside Photographers Allowed
To maintain a consistent creative vision and avoid workflow conflicts, we kindly ask that no additional photographers be hired outside of the Shots by Shawn Photography team. - Winner Must Respond Within 48 Hours
If we don’t hear back within 48 hours of the winner announcement, a new winner will be selected.
Bonus Tips to Strengthen Your Entry
- Sharing the giveaway post to your stories or tagging multiple engaged friends boosts your visibility—but isn’t required.
- We recommend weddings with 50+ guests for the strongest visual storytelling.
- Strong entries include a brief story about your love, proposal, or why this opportunity would mean something to you.
